it all started with one project
My woodworking journey began back in 2020. We needed a new coffee table. Yeah...I coulda' just bought one, but why? Why not try and build one? After brief research and a couple tool purchases, I got to work. Before I knew it I had an awesome table I was proud off. After that, I was hooked on woodworking.
just an average dude
No fancy shop...No fancy tools
My work is done in a small homemade shed / yard with budget tools. Hence the name Backyard Bob...it's quite literal.
I represent all those who are passionate or want to be about woodworking, regardless of how much they have or their skill level. Woodworking is such an enjoyable experience and you don't need all the tools or space to get started.
Beginner friendly
I'm no master craftsman myself. I'm still learning and practicing, but that's part of the fun. It's all about that feeling of pride when you step back and say...wow, I built that.

I also started a YouTube channel to document my growth, share projects, and teach handy beginner friendly tips.
